Founded in 1946, the Stürtz Group has become one of the largest producers of machines for manufacturing PVC windows. It has in parallel taken on a leading position in automation. Its product portfolio includes individual machines and end-to-end automation systems for manufacturing PVC windows and some types of aluminum windows as well as fully automated, interlinked production equipment in the area of special machine production.

Growth during CGS’s engagement

  • Topline growth of around 50%, bottom-line growth of around 100%, creation of over 90 new jobs
  • Dependence on sales partners reduced and after-sales service operations strengthened through expansion of own sales activities and the customer proximity they entail
  • Establishment of local footprints in growth markets Benelux, South-Eastern Europe, Poland, and China
  • Significant expansion of market share in North America through increased integration in group, as well as introduction of key account management
  • Introduction of Innovation Management and development of various new products to increasing the addressable market
  • Digitalization of processes and customer offering (Industry 4.0), which was recognized by the award “Digital Pioneer” of the Wirtschaftswoche magazine in 2021 (rank 18 out of 4,000 companies)
  • Introduction of several Operational Excellences measure in operations, incl. making production capacity more flexible or introduction of strategic procurement
