Peter F. Gloor, Managing Partner, M.S. Mech. Engineering, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Zurich (ETH)
Peter F. Gloor held various operational mandates leading to the creation of successful industry groups, sales and mergers of companies and constituting the success of CGS I. Peter Gloor was the Head of Group research at Hilti Group. H e gained management experience from working as a management consultant at ICME Business Consultancy in Zurich, a Turnaround- and Recovery Manager (CEO) of Netstal Machines AG and a Director and member of the executive group management of SEFAR AG. In other roles, he was a board member of various companies in Switzerland, Singapore, France and the USA. His activities led to strategic restructurings of companies or parts of companies, to mergers and to Trade Sales of companies or parts of companies. In the case of Netstal Machines AG, Peter Gloor was responsible for the sale to a German combination. From 1995 to 1997 Peter Gloor acted as a Turnaround-Manager in various mandates for the leading Swiss big banks. He was the co-founding Partner of CGS Management in 1995.

Rolf Lanz, Managing Partner, Dr. oec. publ., University of Zurich
Rolf Lanz held various operational management and board-mandates, leading to the creation of successful industry groups, sales and mergers of companies and constituting the success of CGS I. Rolf Lanz was CEO and member of the board of the Medosan Group. He also held the CFO position of Zurcher Ziegeleien and he acted as the main responsible manager for the management information system of UBS. In these positions, he was board member of various companies. His roles led to strategic restructurings and legal reorganizations. He was building up new markets and market segments and led various M&A projects, including sales of companies. Rolf Lanz received his doctor’s degree from the University of Zurich with the thesis “Controlling in Small and Mid-Size Companies”. He has been a Partner of CGS Management since 2000.

Peter Giesinger, Managing Partner, Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration, MBA IESE, Barcelona
Peter Giesinger held an operational mandate, contributing to the build-up of a successful industry cluster which he led through the exit process in the form of a trade sale to a strategic buyer. He was substantially contributing to the success of CGS I.
Peter Giesinger was CEO of Bourdon-Haenni Group. He gained his management experience at Hilti Corporation in sales, marketing and general management functions throughout Western Europe. During this period an integration of an acquisition, the strategic merger of group companies and the introduction of a new ERP system took place under his direction.

Lars B. Niggemann, Investment Director, MBA Rochester NY and Lic. oec. publ. University of Zurich
Lars Niggemann's former professional experience was gained in Private Equity Investment Management and Market Development at Adveq, a leading European Private Equity Manager. He previously worked as a Consultant in Private Equity and played an instrumental role in the establishment of a Private Equity vehicle. Before his consulting activity, Lars founded and managed his own company in the marketing and eventmanagement sector as an self-entrepreneur. Lars Niggemann joined CGS in 2005.

Michael Gill, Investment Director, Dipl.-Ing. Mechanical Engineering, University of Hannover (Germany) and MBA, University of South Carolina, Columbia (USA)
Michael Gill started his professional career as project manager for mid-size consulting company Wiegershaus GmbH in Cologne. In this role he conducted numerous projects with an organizational and strategic focus for clients in Germany and Switzerland, emphasizing an implementation-oriented, hands-on consulting approach. Subsequently he joined the private equity division of IKB in Dusseldorf, a bank dedicated to finance the German “Mittelstand”. His responsibilities covered dealsourcing, as well as monitoring and exit processes. He gained professional experience with direct and mezzanine investments in a variety of industries, such as automotive, manufacturing and consumer goods. Michael Gill joined CGS in 2008.

Antonio Cives, Analyst, Lic. rer. pol. University of Basle
Antonio Cives former worked as a Consultant in the Corporate Valuation/Financial Modelling team in the Transaction Advisory Services department of Ernst & Young in Zürich. He previously worked as a Research Assistant in the Swiss Equities Research team of the UBS Investment Bank in Zurich. Antonio Cives joined CGS in December 2006.
