CGS Private Equity Partnership II (2008) is the new partnership managed by CGS. CGS II continues the successful CGS Buy & Build strategy which focuses mainly on small industrial Buyouts with revenues from CHF 10m – 80m located in Switzerland, Germany and other European Countries. CGS II will acquire 12-16 companies and bundle their strengths into four to five industry groups, opening opportunities for economies of scale and a further range of value increasing synergies. CGS II is a Private Equity Partnership with a fundsize of CHF 125m.

CGS Private Equity Partnership I (1999–2006) started as a closed end fund in 1999 for the duration of 7 years. It has achieved an above average return for its investors and clearly outperformed the SMI Index as an applicable benchmark.

Both, CGS Private Equity Partnership I and II were established as Jersey based Limited Partnerships and consist of the Limited Partners (investors) and the General Partner. CGS Private Equity Partnership I & II are advised by CGS Management casparis gloor lanz & co., based in Pfäffikon SZ.
